CIIT PSD Projects
I’ve been recreating websites into PSDs for my night classes at Cosmopoint International Institute of Technology. I am getting amazed with the things I can now do. Thanks to my instructors who seem to know a lot of workarounds that they are also willing to share. I used to kill myself long ago with my daunting workflow.
One of our exercises was to re-create mademyday.de from scratch. The site’s simple and easy on the eyes. Great colors, too. Kind of reminds me of the default Blogspot template back then. The hardest part to replicate was the text, especially the Twitter feed, since it has already changed by the time I finished the layout.
I’ve been itching to re-do 1love.org since I left the school building but right now I’m at work and I need to do my real work. This is fun, grunge and all. I don’t think I’m getting any sleep later.
And these are the times when I wish I had a monitor this big at home. Well, our HDTV would do, but I care about our electric bill.
Had some spare time last night at the office. Did this in between breaks, total time added up to two hours. This is probably my best work so far, I just hope that I’ll learn the back end part soon. I don’t know a thing about coding and security and only rely on cheat sheets. I wanna change that real soon.
Finally, I made this PSD for my personal site. This should be a good practice for using slices.
